The winners will be announced on January 3 on Facebook, the SNS blog, and on our blogs:

This card uses the Spunky Valentine set and the Single Z Fold card tutorial in the SNS Tips and Techniques.  I used the new Pocket Full of Papers Blue Pathways paper, punching the outer edges with a border punch and layering on pink and the white card base.  I stamped the group of hearts randomly on the paper and heat embossed with Velvet Sparkle Embossing Powder.

I die cut the hearts from pink cardstock and stamped them with the sentiment and flourishes from the Flourish 2 set with VersaMark Ink.  I heat embossed using Stickum Powder and added Pixie Violet and Orchid Rose Velvet glitters.  These were lovely like this but I just had to go for more sparkle so I covered them with VersaMark Ink and Velvet Sparkle EP

Spunky was stamped with Memento ink, colored with Copic Markers, and fussy cut.  I added Twinkling Clouds Sparkle N Soft to the white sections, using brushable glue.  I stamped the heart from the image on the Blue Pathways paper, fussy cut, and used the glue pen to add Pixie Violet Velvet Glitter to the Be Mine.  Once again, I covered the entire heart with VersaMark Ink and Velvet Sparkle EP.  I layered this on the main image and then fussy cut the little hands from a third stamped image and popped them up with dimensionals.  I added him to the big heart so he was peeking from behind the smaller heart when the card is closed.

The Happy Valentine's was cut from sticker paper using my Cricut and Lyrical Letters Cartridge.  I removed the protective layer from the letters only and added Pixie Violet Velvet Glitter.  I trimmed around the words, removed the remaining protective layer, and added Cloud Nine Velvet Glitter.

Here is the finished card, opened.  Don't forget to leave a comment for a chance to win - I might be one of the secret designers!  For more chances to win, along with some great inspiration, visit each of the other designers' blogs and leave comments.

Merry Christmas

Despite illness, car accidents, car breakdowns, and undelivered packages, today is a wonderful day!  My girls are both home, safe and sound, to share this holiday as a family.  What more can a mother ask for?

I want to thank all of you for loyally following my blog this year and I wish you all God's blessings as we celebrate this special time of year

Merry Christmas!

With Love At Christmas

Sparkle N Sprinkle released a wonderful Christmas set a short time ago called Christmas Holly.  I have had it sitting on my craft table, hoping to have some time to use it.  I love the lamp image and used it, along with the With Love At Christmas sentiment.

For the card background I used a variety of die cut, inked, distressed, and embossed layers of decorative cardstock.

The image is stamped and heat embossed with Cappuccino Embossing Powder on white cardstock covered with Tear-ific tape and Cloud Nine Velvet Glitter three times, then colored with alcohol markers.  I cut out the full image one time and then cut out the second image without the glass lamp shade and layered these with dimensionals.  I cut out the flowers only from the third image and added them to the layered image, once again using dimensionals.  This is all added to the center of card front.

The sentiment heat embossed on decorative cream cardstock and colored.  I added a little Sparkle embossing powder to the berries and leaves, using a Versamarker, to give them a little sparkle and shine.  I die cut this with a large ribbon banner die from Spellbinders, using the center section only.  The edges are inked and distressed and the whole banner is curved and curled to give it dimension and added to the card with a combination of glue and dimensionals.

I had these little floral berry branches so I add a little color and glitter to the petals and berries and tucked them around the sentiment, along with a few fussy cut glittery leave left over from layering the lamp image.

Detailed instructions for this card can be found here in the SNS gallery.

Thanks for visiting!
